What is a crypto heatmap?
A crypto heatmap turns the whole market into one picture. Every coin is a tile or a bubble, sized by a metric you choose and colored by how its price has moved. A single glance shows you where money is flowing.
How do I read the colors and sizes?
By default, size is market cap and color is price change: green when a coin is up, red when it is down, and brighter for bigger moves. You can switch size and color independently to map market cap, volume, or change to either one.
What is the difference between treemap and bubbles?
The treemap packs every coin into a dense grid, so it is ideal for scanning the whole market at once. Bubbles space coins out as circles you can interact with, which makes a punchier image to share.
Which timeframes can I view?
Switch between 1 hour, 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, and 1 year. The colors and the gainers and losers boards all update to match the timeframe you pick.
Can I build a heatmap of just one sector or chain?
Yes. Use the scope picker to focus the map on a single sector, such as DeFi or memecoins, or a single chain, such as Solana or Base. Each scope also has its own page you can bookmark or share.
