Every Wednesday, Zypto goes live on X for a session of open crypto talk. It runs from the Zypto App account on X, and anyone can drop in and listen, or put a hand up and join the conversation. If you use Zypto App, this is the room where you hear what we’re thinking before it turns into an announcement.
Zypto co-founder Joe Parkin is there every week, with Voice of DeFi hosting. Guests come from across the industry, usually founders and builders from projects we work with.
What actually gets talked about
These are philosophical discussions about where digital money is going, and what self-custody and decentralization really mean in practice. A recent run:
Should it ever be possible to freeze funds or reverse a transaction? Your money, your rules. Or should someone always have the power to hit undo? Governments, regulators, smart contracts. Who should hold that control, and when? Hive, Dash, StealthEX and Monerium joined that one.
How do we express value if not in fiat? Gold, Bitcoin, tokenized assets, stablecoins. Humans have always found ways to express value, and the question is whether fiat still does that job well or whether we’ve already moved past it.
Crypto security: how not to lose everything. Hacks, scams, lost wallets, dodgy links. The horror stories everyone has heard and some people have lived, and what actually keeps your crypto safe.
Web3 gaming and crypto. Splinterlands and Sacred Tails on whether the two worlds really connect or simply sit next to each other.
Crypto around the world. Different regions, different stories, one common thread, with guests who live in those markets rather than read about them.
That’s the range. Self-custody, payments, regulation, adoption, and the open questions underneath them.

Can’t make it live?
Recordings stay up on X for two to three weeks after the Space, so you can catch one you missed. After that they come down, which is the best reason to turn up live when you can.

Follow @ZyptoApp on X and you’ll see the Space announced with a reminder link each week. Times are usually Wednesday afternoon in Europe, though they move around a little, so the announcement post is the one to check.
Bring a question if you’ve got one. Plenty of people just listen, and that’s fine too.
