Looking for a Dogecoin wallet? Zypto App cannot hold DOGE yet: Dogecoin is not one of the 20+ chains it has integrated. What Zypto does take today is DOGE as a payment method on Zypto Pay, on the web. The detail, chain by chain, is below.

Dogecoin runs on the Dogecoin network, which isn't integrated in Zypto App yet. Request Dogecoin on X and we'll prioritize adding it so you can hold and swap Dogecoin.

Where you can use DOGE today

Dogecoin is accepted as payment on Zypto Pay on the web today.

Holding and swapping DOGE inside Zypto App follows once Dogecoin is integrated. It is on the list, and community demand moves it up.

DOGE is native to Dogecoin, which is not integrated in Zypto App yet. We will integrate it as we reach that point on the roadmap and as we see community interest.

In the meantime, bridged and wrapped versions of DOGE on the chains below are integrated, so you can hold and swap those in the app today.

What Dogecoin can do through Zypto today, and what it cannot

DOGE is accepted as a payment method on Zypto Pay, the web checkout, so you can use it to pay for Zypto products and services right now. What is not there yet is custody. Dogecoin is not one of the 20+ chains integrated in Zypto App, so the app cannot generate a DOGE address, hold a DOGE balance, or route a swap for it.

That split is worth knowing before you download anything. Zypto App is a non-custodial wallet with keys generated on your device, in-app DEX integrations for swaps across roughly 24,000 assets on 20+ chains, WalletConnect for dApps, and a Zypto Premium Visa Card you can load from the assets it does support. If you came here to spend DOGE, Zypto Pay covers that today. If you came here for a Dogecoin wallet, keep the one you have for now: the app side follows once Dogecoin is integrated.

New to Dogecoin? Start with what works today

You do not need an account anywhere to hold DOGE, and Zypto App cannot be that wallet until Dogecoin is integrated. What you can do now is pay with DOGE on Zypto Pay, and set Zypto App up for the chains it already covers so it is ready when Dogecoin lands. Setup takes about a minute and produces a recovery phrase only you hold.

What to do next

Using Dogecoin with Zypto, step by step

1

Pay with DOGE

Choose DOGE at the Zypto Pay checkout to pay for Zypto products and services on the web.

2

Set up the app

Download Zypto App and generate your recovery phrase. It holds and swaps assets across the 20+ chains already integrated.

3

Integration order follows our roadmap and community demand. A public request is how demand gets counted.

How Zypto App handles your keys

Zypto App is non-custodial for every asset it supports. Private keys are generated and stored on your device, Zypto never has access to your funds and every transaction is signed locally. For account access, every user sets a PIN with optional biometric security (fingerprint or face recognition). You can also filter your wallet to show only verified tokens, protecting you from random airdrops or unsafe assets. For offline hardware wallet security, pair with the Vault Key Card, card-based cold-wallet hardware that signs transactions over NFC, keys never touch the internet.

What is Dogecoin?

Dogecoin (DOGE) is a proof-of-work cryptocurrency that began as an internet joke in 2013 and grew into one of the most widely held cryptocurrencies. It uses a Scrypt-based mining algorithm and supports fast, low-fee transfers.

Dogecoin (DOGE) wallet: the things people ask

What's the best Dogecoin wallet app?

That depends on what you want to do with your DOGE, and Zypto App is honest about its part: it cannot hold DOGE yet, so it is not the answer for this one. For a wallet that can, you need one that supports Dogecoin. If the rest of what you hold sits on the 20+ chains Zypto has integrated, it keeps those non-custodially, swaps between them, connects to dApps and turns the value into real-world spending.

Is Zypto App non-custodial?

Yes. Your private keys are generated and stored on your device for every asset Zypto App supports. Zypto never has access to your funds, and every transaction is signed locally before it reaches the network.

How do I use crypto for real-world spending with Zypto Premium Visa Cards?

When you load the card in Zypto App, your crypto is converted into USD. Conversion happens at load, not at the checkout, so you can lock value in, avoid volatility and pay wherever Visa is accepted, subject to eligibility and applicable limits.

Can I swap Dogecoin in Zypto App?

Not yet. Dogecoin is not integrated in Zypto App, so DOGE cannot be swapped there. Zypto App swaps across 20+ integrated chains, and telling us on X is the fastest way to move Dogecoin up the queue.

How do I back up my Dogecoin wallet?

During setup, Zypto App generates a 12-word recovery phrase. Write it down and store it offline somewhere safe. For offline hardware wallet security, pair Zypto App with a Vault Key Card, the card-based cold-wallet hardware that signs transactions over NFC without exposing your keys to the internet.

Is Zypto App available in my country?

The wallet itself is available globally on iOS, Android and web. Some features (in-app buying, the Zypto Premium Visa Card) vary by region. See what's available where you are on our Spend by Country page.

Is Zypto App free?

The app is free to download and use. Standard network fees apply to on-chain transactions. Card and bill-pay services carry transparent transaction fees published in the app.
