Your Verus is secured by you
Zypto App is non-custodial. Your private keys are generated and stored on your device, Zypto never has access to your VRSC and every transaction is signed locally. For account access, every user sets a PIN with optional biometric security (fingerprint or face recognition). You can also filter your wallet to show only verified tokens, protecting you from random airdrops or unsafe assets. For offline hardware wallet security, pair with the Vault Key Card, card-based cold-wallet hardware that signs transactions over NFC, keys never touch the internet.
What is Verus?
Verus is a public blockchain protocol built around privacy, identity, and interoperability. It supports the creation of custom blockchains and tokens, on-chain identities, and interoperable smart contract systems, with the goal of letting separate chains communicate without a central bridge. VRSC is the native coin of the Verus network, so it is not a token on another chain. It is used to pay for transactions and network operations and to secure the chain. Verus uses a hybrid consensus its developers call Proof of Power, combining proof of work and proof of stake in a roughly even split. The project began in 2018 with a fair launch, meaning there was no ICO and no pre-mine. You can follow the Verus price and hold VRSC in a self-custody wallet.
