What is Shentu?

Shentu (CTK), formerly CertiK Chain, is a blockchain focused on security for the wider crypto ecosystem. It pairs a public chain with tools aimed at protecting smart contracts and users, including the Shentu Security Oracle, which produces on-chain security scores, and ShentuShield, a community pool that can reimburse losses from hacks or code failures. CTK is the network's native coin. It is used to pay gas fees, to stake and help secure the chain through its delegated proof-of-stake design, and to fund and reward participation in security analysis and governance. The project grew out of CertiK, a blockchain auditing firm founded in 2018, and the chain later rebranded from CertiK Chain to Shentu.
