Your Terra is secured by you
Zypto App is non-custodial. Your private keys are generated and stored on your device, Zypto never has access to your LUNA and every transaction is signed locally. For account access, every user sets a PIN with optional biometric security (fingerprint or face recognition). You can also filter your wallet to show only verified tokens, protecting you from random airdrops or unsafe assets. What is Terra?
Terra is a layer-1 proof-of-stake blockchain built with the Cosmos SDK. This version, often called Terra 2.0, is the relaunched chain created in May 2022 after the original Terra network and its algorithmic stablecoin UST collapsed. The new chain was rebuilt without an algorithmic stablecoin, focusing instead on a community-governed platform for decentralized applications. LUNA is the native coin of the new chain. Holders stake it to help secure the network and earn rewards, and they use it to vote on governance proposals covering upgrades and treasury decisions. Part of the supply was airdropped to holders affected by the original collapse.
