How Zypto App handles your keys
Zypto App is non-custodial for every asset it supports. Private keys are generated and stored on your device, Zypto never has access to your funds and every transaction is signed locally. For account access, every user sets a PIN with optional biometric security (fingerprint or face recognition). You can also filter your wallet to show only verified tokens, protecting you from random airdrops or unsafe assets. What is Quantum Resistant Ledger?
The Quantum Resistant Ledger (QRL) is its own Layer 1 blockchain built around defending against the threat that future quantum computers could pose to current cryptography. Instead of the elliptic curve signatures most chains rely on, QRL secures transactions with XMSS, a hash-based signature scheme that is considered resistant to known quantum attacks. Its mainnet launched in 2018, and the project describes itself as one of the first blockchains to use this kind of signature in production. QRL is the native token used to pay transaction fees and to take part in securing the network. The chain launched with a temporary proof-of-work phase and later moved toward proof-of-stake. Beyond payments, the network supports features such as on-chain messaging and quantum-resistant token creation. QRL addresses a long-term security question rather than day-to-day speed or DeFi activity, so it appeals to people interested in post-quantum design. What's the best Quantum Resistant Ledger wallet app?
That depends on what you want to do with your QRL, and Zypto App is honest about its part: it cannot hold QRL yet, so it is not the answer for this one.
