ORDI, and the Bitcoin that Zypto does support

ORDI is a BRC-20 asset. Balances live in data inscribed on Bitcoin and are tracked by off-chain indexers, which is support a wallet has to build in deliberately, and Zypto App has not built it. So ORDI cannot be held, swapped or accepted as payment in the app.

Native Bitcoin is a different matter. It is supported in full: non-custodial keys generated on your device, swaps into roughly 24,000 assets across 20+ integrated chains, WalletConnect for dApps, and a Zypto Premium Visa Card you can load from your Bitcoin balance.

That is not an argument against ORDI. It is where our roadmap sits: BRC-20 support follows chain support, and community demand moves it.

How Zypto App handles your keys

Zypto App is non-custodial for every asset it supports. Private keys are generated and stored on your device, Zypto never has access to your funds and every transaction is signed locally. For account access, every user sets a PIN with optional biometric security (fingerprint or face recognition). You can also filter your wallet to show only verified tokens, protecting you from random airdrops or unsafe assets. For offline hardware wallet security, pair with the Vault Key Card, card-based cold-wallet hardware that signs transactions over NFC, keys never touch the internet.

What is ORDI?

ORDI is widely recognized as the first BRC-20 token, a format created on top of the Ordinals protocol that lets data be inscribed directly onto individual satoshis on the Bitcoin network. It exists entirely on Bitcoin rather than on a smart-contract chain, which made it an early experiment in issuing fungible tokens on the original blockchain. The token was inscribed in early 2023, shortly after the Ordinals protocol and the BRC-20 standard appeared, and it gained attention once exchanges began listing it that year. ORDI has no formal utility or governance role. It functions mainly as a memecoin and as a symbol of the BRC-20 movement on Bitcoin. As a speculative, community-driven asset with no underlying product, its price tends to be volatile and tied to interest in Bitcoin-based tokens. You can keep an eye on the ORDI price and hold the token in a self-custody wallet.
