Your Holo is secured by you

For account access, every user sets a PIN with optional biometric security (fingerprint or face recognition). What is Holo?
Holo (HOT), also called HoloToken, is an ERC-20 token issued on Ethereum in 2018. It is connected to Holo and Holochain, a framework for building peer-to-peer applications that run without a traditional blockchain. Holo provides community-owned hosting infrastructure so these applications can be reached over the regular internet. HOT was created as a placeholder asset, intended to be redeemable for HoloFuel, the accounting currency designed to pay hosts who run Holochain applications. As of 2026 the project is running a technical migration from HOT toward HoloFuel, so the token's long-term role depends on how that transition progresses. Because the wider Holochain and HoloFuel system is still maturing, HOT remains an early-stage asset tied to the rollout of that infrastructure.
