Zypto App is non-custodial. Your private keys are generated and stored on your device, Zypto never has access to your ETHW and every transaction is signed locally. For account access, every user sets a PIN with optional biometric security (fingerprint or face recognition). You can also filter your wallet to show only verified tokens, protecting you from random airdrops or unsafe assets. What is EthereumPoW?
EthereumPoW is a separate blockchain that preserved the original proof-of-work version of Ethereum after the main network moved to proof-of-stake. When Ethereum completed The Merge in September 2022, a group of miners and developers forked the chain so that mining could continue, and EthereumPoW went live the day after. ETHW is the native coin of that chain, used to pay transaction fees and reward the miners who validate blocks. At the fork, ETHW was distributed to existing ETH holders based on a balance snapshot, so anyone holding ETH in self-custody at the time received the matching amount on the new chain. The project is community-led rather than run by a central company. As a contentious fork separate from Ethereum's main ecosystem, ETHW has a smaller developer and application base, so weigh that before treating it as equivalent to ETH.
