Ankr Network (ANKR) is a decentralized Web3 infrastructure provider. It runs a global network of nodes that supply RPC (Remote Procedure Call) endpoints and APIs across dozens of Proof-of-Stake blockchains, letting wallets, decentralized apps, and developers read chain data and submit transactions without operating their own nodes. Ankr also offers liquid staking products. ANKR is the network's utility and governance token. It is used to pay for node services and developer access, to govern the protocol, and to stake against node providers so participants can earn a share of rewards from RPC requests served on the network. The token and project have been active since 2019, making Ankr one of the more established infrastructure plays in the space. ANKR is an ERC-20 token that also exists on BNB Chain and other networks.
