What is TronBank?
TronBank (TBK) is the token behind an energy leasing and staking protocol built on the TRON blockchain. On TRON, on-chain actions consume a resource called energy, and TronBank runs a marketplace where users can rent energy to lower their transaction costs while TRX holders supply resources and earn staking yield in return.
The TBK token is the value-capture layer for the protocol. TronBank uses a deflationary model in which revenue from energy leasing and voting rewards is used to buy back and burn TBK, reducing supply over time. It launched on TRON with a total issuance of 1 billion tokens allocated across community nodes, staking rewards, and partners.
As a smaller, single-chain DeFi utility token, TBK carries the higher risk that comes with newer protocols, so it is worth researching the project and its mechanics directly before committing.
