Hyperliquid is a layer-1 blockchain built specifically for high-performance derivatives trading. It runs its own decentralized exchange where traders can open perpetual positions on-chain with the speed usually associated with centralized venues.
The HYPE token powers the network and its ecosystem, used for fees, staking, and aligning activity across the platform. The project has stood out for handling large trading volumes while keeping settlement fully on its own chain.
