What is io.net?
io.net (IO) is a decentralized physical infrastructure network, often called DePIN, that pools together underused GPUs from independent suppliers around the world and groups them into clusters that AI and machine learning teams can rent. The aim is to give developers access to compute power without relying only on large centralized cloud providers.
IO is the token of the network. It is an SPL token issued on Solana, and it is used to pay for compute and to settle payments between the teams renting GPUs and the suppliers providing them. GPU suppliers earn IO for the work their hardware completes, with rewards distributed over a long schedule.
io.net launched in 2024 and operates in the AI infrastructure and DePIN category. It is a relatively new project, and its usage depends on real demand for decentralized GPU compute, so it carries more uncertainty than longer established assets.
You can track the io.net price and hold IO in a self-custody wallet.

How is io.net priced?
io.net trades 24 hours a day, and its price comes from supply and demand across many exchanges at once. The number above is a live, volume-weighted average of those markets. Because it trades continuously and worldwide, the price can move sharply within a single day. Past performance is no guarantee of future results, and nothing here is financial advice.
Where can I hold io.net?
You can hold io.net in any non-custodial wallet, which means you control the private keys rather than trusting an exchange. Zypto App is a non-custodial multichain wallet where you can hold IO and swap it into 24,000+ assets. IO isn't accepted as a payment method yet, so it can't be used for real-world spending in Zypto.
