What is Constellation?
Constellation is a layer-1 network built on a directed acyclic graph (DAG) rather than a traditional chain of blocks. Its protocol, the Hypergraph, arranges transactions so that each new one confirms earlier ones, which the project designed for high-throughput data pipelines and feeless transfers. Applications run as modular sub-networks called metagraphs, each able to validate its own data types.
DAG is the native asset of the network. It is used for staking, transaction processing, and securing the application-specific metagraphs that run on the Hypergraph. The project launched its token in 2018 and has positioned itself around verifiable data automation, with reported work involving large enterprise and public-sector partners.
DAG sits in the data-infrastructure category, and adoption of the metagraph model is still developing, so treat it as a maturing project.
You can track the Constellation price and hold DAG in a self-custody wallet.

How is Constellation priced?
Constellation trades 24 hours a day, and its price comes from supply and demand across many exchanges at once. The number above is a live, volume-weighted average of those markets. Because it trades continuously and worldwide, the price can move sharply within a single day. Past performance is no guarantee of future results, and nothing here is financial advice.
Where can I hold Constellation?
You can hold Constellation in any non-custodial wallet, which means you control the private keys rather than trusting an exchange. Zypto App is a non-custodial multichain wallet where you can hold DAG and swap it into 24,000+ assets. DAG isn't accepted as a payment method yet, so it can't be used for real-world spending in Zypto.
