What is Gensyn?
Gensyn is a decentralized compute protocol for machine intelligence. It coordinates AI training, inference, and evaluation across distributed hardware, letting independent machines contribute compute to a shared network and get paid for verified work, with cryptographic checks so that untrusted operators can be trusted.
AI is the network's native token. It is the payment currency for compute and on-chain services, and the protocol runs a buy-and-burn mechanism that destroys a portion of tokens bought with network revenue, tying token supply to usage. Total supply is fixed at 10 billion. The public testnet launched in March 2025, and the project is backed by well-known venture investors.
As a young decentralized AI protocol still maturing its mainnet and applications such as the Delphi prediction market, AI is an early-stage, higher-risk asset.
