What is StorX?
StorX is a decentralized cloud storage network. Files are encrypted, split into fragments, and spread across independent storage nodes run by operators around the world, so no single node holds a complete file. It sits in the DePIN category, where physical infrastructure like storage capacity is coordinated on-chain.
SRX is the network's utility token. Users pay for storage plans in SRX, and node operators earn SRX rewards for contributing capacity and uptime. StorX is built on the XDC Network, an energy-efficient blockchain, and the project began in 2021 with its mainnet rolling out from 2023.
The network reports a large base of users and storage providers, indicating an operating service rather than a concept stage.
