What is SOON?
SOON is a blockchain infrastructure project that brings the Solana Virtual Machine (SVM) to other networks. Its main product is an SVM rollup that runs on top of Ethereum, giving applications Solana-style execution speed while settling on Ethereum. The wider SOON Stack lets developers spin up similar SVM rollups on other Layer 1 chains.
SOON is the network's native token. It is used to pay gas across SOON chains and also covers staking, governance voting, and ecosystem incentives, with a one billion initial supply and modest annual inflation. The mainnet launched in 2025, and the token generation event followed later that year.
