What is Echelon Prime?
Echelon Prime (PRIME) is the token behind a Web3 gaming ecosystem run by the Echelon Prime Foundation, which builds tools and economies for on-chain games. Its best known game is Parallel, a science fiction trading card game where the cards are held as NFTs that players actually own and can trade. PRIME is an ERC-20 token on Ethereum, while many of the Parallel game assets live as NFTs on both Ethereum and Base, an Ethereum Layer 2.
The token launched in 2022 but was not transferable at first. The community voted to enable transfers in early 2023, and PRIME has a fixed total supply of just over 111 million. Holders use it for governance and for in-game activity such as accessing limited items and refining shards, and players can earn PRIME through gameplay.
PRIME is tied closely to the success of the games built around it, so its value tracks that ecosystem rather than a broad utility network. You can follow the Echelon Prime price and store PRIME yourself in a self-custody wallet.
