What is Big Time?
Big Time (BIGTIME) is the in-game token for Big Time, a multiplayer action role-playing game for PC made by Big Time Studios. The game pairs fast combat with an open economy where players can earn, craft, and trade items, and the token launched in 2023 to serve as that economy's main currency.
Inside the game, BIGTIME is used to refine, craft, and upgrade gear at the Forge and Armory, to speed up crafting timers, and to access certain higher-tier areas. Players earn it by playing rather than buying an allocation, with the token dropping in-game under set conditions, and it can also be traded outside the game.
BIGTIME is an ERC-20 token on the Ethereum network. As a token tied to a live game, its activity is linked to player demand and updates to the game itself, so its use case sits mainly within that gaming economy.
