What is APEX?
ApeX Protocol is a decentralized exchange focused on perpetual futures trading. It uses an order book model rather than a typical swap pool, letting traders take leveraged long and short positions while keeping their funds in self-custody. Collateral is handled in stablecoins, and the protocol runs across several chains including Ethereum, BNB Chain, Arbitrum, Base, and Solana.
APEX is the protocol's governance and utility token. Holders can vote on proposals and stake APEX to take part in staking programs and buyback rewards. The token launched in 2022.
As a derivatives platform, perpetual trading carries high risk, so the token reflects activity in a volatile corner of the market. Treat it as a maturing DeFi project rather than an established one.
You can follow the ApeX Protocol price and hold APEX in a self-custody wallet.

How is APEX priced?
APEX trades 24 hours a day, and its price comes from supply and demand across many exchanges at once. The number above is a live, volume-weighted average of those markets. Because it trades continuously and worldwide, the price can move sharply within a single day. Past performance is no guarantee of future results, and nothing here is financial advice.
Where can I hold APEX?
You can hold APEX in any non-custodial wallet, which means you control the private keys rather than trusting an exchange. Zypto App is a non-custodial multichain wallet where you can hold APEX and swap it into 24,000+ assets. APEX isn't accepted as a payment method yet, so it can't be used for real-world spending in Zypto.
