Xphere is a layer-1 blockchain network that uses a dual-chain design, pairing a Proof-of-Work chain for security with a PBFT-based mechanism for fast transaction validation. The network reports a one-second block time and throughput in the thousands of transactions per second. XP is the network's native coin. It is used to pay transaction fees and supports the consensus and mining model, and the project has set a capped total supply with a declining annual issuance schedule. Genesis issuance took place in March 2024, and the team has since moved the network toward a 2.0 version.
