What is MVL?
MVL (Mass Vehicle Ledger) is a blockchain project focused on the mobility and transportation sector. It aims to connect drivers, riders, vehicle owners, and service providers on a shared ledger that records vehicle data such as driving history, maintenance, and service records, with the owner controlling access to their own data. MVL is the native token of the ecosystem and is used to pay for and reward activity across its services, including the TADA ride-hailing app, which operates in Southeast Asian markets such as Singapore, Vietnam, and Cambodia. The project launched in 2018 by the Singapore-based MVL Foundation, with the token issued as an ERC-20 on Ethereum and later expanded to other networks.
