What Zypto App can and cannot do with ELF

How Zypto App handles your keys
Zypto App is non-custodial for every asset it supports. Private keys are generated and stored on your device, Zypto never has access to your funds and every transaction is signed locally. For account access, every user sets a PIN with optional biometric security (fingerprint or face recognition). You can also filter your wallet to show only verified tokens, protecting you from random airdrops or unsafe assets. For offline hardware wallet security, pair with the Vault Key Card, card-based cold-wallet hardware that signs transactions over NFC, keys never touch the internet.
What is aelf?
aelf is a modular layer-1 blockchain built for high throughput and decentralized applications, with a recent focus on AI-driven use cases. It uses a multi-chain design with parallel processing, so a main chain coordinates a set of side chains rather than forcing all activity through one ledger. The protocol is written in C#, which lets developers from the .NET ecosystem build on it more easily. The network runs on a delegated proof-of-stake model, where token holders vote to elect the block producers that secure the chain. ELF is the native token and launched in 2017. It is used to pay transaction fees, to stake for network resources, and to participate in on-chain governance such as voting on protocol upgrades. During setup, Zypto App generates a 12-word recovery phrase. Write it down and store it offline somewhere safe.
