What is Zora?
Zora is a creator-focused platform built on Base, Coinbase's Ethereum Layer 2. It lets people tokenize content and profiles, turning posts and creator accounts into tradable ERC-20 coins backed by automatically created liquidity pools. Creators earn a share of trading fees on the coins they mint, which gives the on-chain creator economy a direct way to reward content.
ZORA is the platform's utility token, launched on Base in April 2025 with a fixed maximum supply of 10 billion. It is used for fees, rewards for participation and referrals, and creator incentives across the ecosystem. The launch included a retroactive airdrop to past users of the protocol.
ZORA is a relatively new token tied to a fast-moving creator-coin model, so activity can be volatile. You can track the Zora price and hold ZORA in a self-custody wallet.

How is Zora priced?
The Zora price you see is an average of live trades from exchanges worldwide, weighted by volume so the busiest markets count for most. It refreshes continuously, day and night. Because it trades continuously and worldwide, the price can move sharply within a single day. Past performance is no guarantee of future results, and nothing here is financial advice.
Where can I hold Zora?
You can hold Zora in any non-custodial wallet, which means you control the private keys rather than trusting an exchange. Zypto App is a non-custodial multichain wallet where you can hold ZORA and swap it into 24,000+ assets. ZORA isn't accepted as a payment method yet, so it can't be used for real-world spending in Zypto.
