What is ZKsync?
ZKsync is an Ethereum layer-2 network that uses zero-knowledge rollup technology to process transactions off the main chain and settle proofs back to Ethereum. This lets it offer lower fees and higher throughput while inheriting Ethereum's security.
The ZK token is used within the ecosystem for governance and network activity, giving holders a role in how the network develops. ZKsync is built by a team focused on scaling Ethereum through zero-knowledge cryptography.
It is one of the more prominent zero-knowledge scaling networks. You can follow the ZKsync price and hold ZK in a self-custody wallet.
