What is Sushi?
Sushi, often known as SushiSwap, is a decentralized exchange that lets people swap tokens directly from their own wallets. It uses an automated market maker model, where trades run against pooled liquidity supplied by users rather than a traditional order book. It launched in 2020 as a fork of Uniswap and added its own token from the start.
The SUSHI token is the protocol's governance asset and also entitles holders to a share of trading fees when staked. Holders can vote on proposals that shape fees, incentives, and the platform's direction.
