What is Strike?
Strike is a decentralized lending and borrowing protocol, a money market where users supply crypto assets to earn interest from algorithmic rates and use what they supply as collateral to borrow other supported assets, all on-chain. When users deposit into a market they receive interest-bearing tokens that represent their share of the pool and can be redeemed for the underlying asset.
STRIKE is the protocol's token, used for governance and distributed to people who supply and borrow in its markets. Strike runs on Ethereum and launched in 2021, in the same wave of lending protocols that followed Compound's design. Note there are several unrelated projects sharing the Strike name, so check the contract and chain before transacting.
You can follow the Strike price and hold STRIKE in a self-custody wallet.

How is Strike priced?
The Strike price you see is an average of live trades from exchanges worldwide, weighted by volume so the busiest markets count for most. It refreshes continuously, day and night. Because it trades continuously and worldwide, the price can move sharply within a single day. Past performance is no guarantee of future results, and nothing here is financial advice.
Where can I hold Strike?
You can hold Strike in any non-custodial wallet, which means you control the private keys rather than trusting an exchange. Zypto App is a non-custodial multichain wallet where you can hold STRIKE and swap it into 24,000+ assets. STRIKE isn't accepted as a payment method yet, so it can't be used for real-world spending in Zypto.
