What is SKALE?
SKALE is an Ethereum-based scaling network made up of independent, application-specific chains. Each SKALE chain runs its own validators and is designed so that end users pay no gas fees for transactions, with the cost handled instead by the developers who rent the chain. This makes it suited to consumer applications, games, and other projects that want predictable costs and high throughput while staying connected to the Ethereum ecosystem.
SKL is the network's utility token. It is used for staking and delegation that secures the chains, for paying validators, and for the subscription model developers use to rent compute, storage, and bandwidth on a SKALE chain. Holders can delegate SKL to validators to earn a share of rewards.
