What is Pendle?
Pendle is a decentralized finance protocol that allows users to trade the future yield of yield-bearing assets. It splits a yield-bearing token into two parts: a principal token and a yield token, letting users take different positions on whether yields will be higher or lower than expected.
The PENDLE token governs the protocol and also lets holders boost their earnings within the platform. Pendle runs primarily on Ethereum and Arbitrum and has become a significant piece of the yield trading ecosystem in DeFi.
