What is Nervos Network?
Nervos Network is a public, permissionless layer-1 blockchain known as the Common Knowledge Base, or CKB. It uses a proof-of-work consensus model and a two-layer design, with the base layer focused on security and storing assets while higher layers handle scaling and applications.
The CKB token is the network's native asset and launched with the Lina mainnet in 2019. It is used to pay for on-chain state storage and to reward the miners who secure the network, tying the cost of holding data directly to the token. Nervos runs as its own independent chain rather than living on top of another network.
You can track the Nervos Network price and hold CKB in a self-custody wallet.
