Your Yield Basis is secured by you
Zypto App is non-custodial. Your private keys are generated and stored on your device, Zypto never has access to your YB and every transaction is signed locally. For account access, every user sets a PIN with optional biometric security (fingerprint or face recognition). You can also filter your wallet to show only verified tokens, protecting you from random airdrops or unsafe assets. For offline hardware wallet security, pair with the Vault Key Card, card-based cold-wallet hardware that signs transactions over NFC, keys never touch the internet.
What is Yield Basis?
Yield Basis is a DeFi protocol built to let people earn yield on Bitcoin while reducing the impermanent loss that liquidity providers normally face. It was created by Michael Egorov, the founder of Curve Finance, and is built on top of Curve's automated market maker infrastructure. The protocol works by leveraging a liquidity position roughly two times and keeping that leverage steady, which is designed to cancel out the pricing effect that causes impermanent loss. Users deposit an asset such as BTC, receive a liquidity token, and the protocol borrows crvUSD against the position to supply a Curve pool. YB is the governance token. It directs liquidity emissions and lets holders share in protocol revenue, and it can be locked as veYB to gain voting power and capture yield.
