Your Synthetix is secured by you
Zypto App is non-custodial. Your private keys are generated and stored on your device, Zypto never has access to your SNX and every transaction is signed locally. For account access, every user sets a PIN with optional biometric security (fingerprint or face recognition). You can also filter your wallet to show only verified tokens, protecting you from random airdrops or unsafe assets. For offline hardware wallet security, pair with the Vault Key Card, card-based cold-wallet hardware that signs transactions over NFC, keys never touch the internet.
What is Synthetix?
Synthetix is a decentralized finance protocol for trading derivatives on-chain, including perpetual futures and synthetic assets that track the price of other things. SNX is the protocol's token. Holders stake it as collateral that backs the system and earn a portion of the trading fees, and it also carries governance rights over how the protocol is run. The project launched in 2018 as Havven, a stablecoin protocol, and rebranded to Synthetix later that year. It runs on Ethereum, where its perpetual futures trading and staking now operate, and it has also built on Optimism, an Ethereum layer-2 network.
