What is KUB Coin?
KUB Coin is the native token of Bitkub Chain, a Thailand-based layer-1 blockchain that is compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine. The chain is built to support payments, DeFi, NFTs, and tokenization across a wider ecosystem of Thai consumer and enterprise services. KUB launched in 2021 and is used to pay transaction fees on the network, to transfer value between users, and to access ecosystem services such as the chain's wallet and NFT marketplace. The project also uses a separate governance token earned by staking KUB, which lets holders vote on protocol decisions.
