Your Audius is secured by you

What is Audius?

Audius is a decentralized music streaming and distribution protocol. Artists upload tracks directly to the network and listeners stream them for free, with the goal of giving creators more direct control over their work and a larger share of the value than traditional streaming services pass through. The network is run by independent operators who host the content nodes that store and stream audio and the discovery nodes that index it. AUDIO is the protocol's native token. It is staked by node operators to run network services, used for governance votes on features and parameters, and distributed to artists and fans as rewards for engagement. Audius launched in 2018 and the AUDIO token went live in 2020. The protocol uses Solana for fast, low-cost transactions and Ethereum for token and governance contracts.
