Sending USDT from your own USDT wallet comes down to two things: which network to send it on, and what pays the fee. Get comfortable with both and it takes seconds. This is the practical, step-by-step version.
Sending USDT in Zypto App

What USDT costs to send, network by network
USDT, like every stablecoin, runs on several blockchains, and USDT fees are not the same on any of them:
- Tron (TRC-20) is usually the cheapest way to send USDT, which is why it’s the default a lot of exchanges reach for.
- Ethereum (ERC-20) costs more, and the fee rises and falls with how busy the network is.
- Solana and BNB Chain also carry USDT, both usually landing in the same low range as Tron.

The fee is paid in the network’s token, not in USDT
Here’s the part that catches newcomers out: the network fee isn’t paid in USDT. It’s paid in that blockchain’s own token, TRX on Tron, ETH on Ethereum, SOL on Solana, BNB on BNB Chain. Getting the network right
A USDT address on Tron and a USDT address on Ethereum are not the same thing, even for the same person. Send to the wrong one and the transfer can go missing, because the receiving side isn’t watching that road, so match the network on both ends before you confirm.
