0G
0G
0G is a modular Layer 1 built for AI, combining on-chain execution with decentralized storage and data availability. Its native token, 0G, pays fees and secures the network.
0G, also styled Zero Gravity, is a modular Layer 1 blockchain designed for decentralized AI workloads. Here is how it works and what it is used for, not the price.

The 0G chain runs a proof-of-stake consensus based on a tuned version of CometBFT, the engine formerly known as Tendermint. Validators stake the 0G token to produce blocks and reach finality, and the design separates the execution layer from the consensus layer so each can be upgraded independently. Validator selection uses a verifiable random function to reduce collusion.

Modular design
0G splits the system into separate parts for consensus, execution, storage, and data availability, rather than handling everything in one layer.
Data availability
A dedicated data availability layer is built to publish large volumes of data, which is intended to support AI models and high-throughput applications.
EVM compatibility
The chain is fully EVM compatible, so Solidity contracts deploy without changes and existing Ethereum tooling works.
0G token
0G is the native asset used to pay gas, stake with validators for security, and align incentives across the storage and compute services.
Ecosystem & usage
What 0G is used for.
0G launched its Aristotle mainnet with a wide set of infrastructure and AI partners on day one.
AI applications
Projects use the storage and data availability layers to host datasets and model outputs for on-chain AI services.
Smart contracts
Developers deploy EVM contracts that interact with the chain like any other Ethereum-compatible network.
Staking
Holders stake 0G with validators to help secure the chain and earn rewards.
In Zypto App
Hold, swap and spend 0G.
0G is integrated in Zypto App. Hold 0G in self-custody, swap it to any supported asset, and use it across Zypto’s features.
0G, also called Zero Gravity, is a modular Layer 1 blockchain built for decentralized AI. It combines on-chain execution with decentralized storage and a data availability layer.
What is the 0G token used for?
0G is the native token. It pays transaction fees, is staked by validators to secure the network, and aligns incentives across the storage and compute layers.
When did 0G launch?
The 0G Aristotle mainnet went live in September 2025, alongside the launch of the 0G token.
Is 0G compatible with Ethereum?
Yes. The 0G chain is fully EVM compatible, so Solidity smart contracts and standard Ethereum tooling work without changes.
Can I hold 0G in the Zypto App?
Not yet. 0G isn't in Zypto App at the moment. You can hold it in any self-custodial wallet, and you can ask us to add 0G using the "Request 0G" button above.
