什麼是 Yield Basis？

Yield Basis is a DeFi protocol built to let people earn yield on Bitcoin while reducing the impermanent loss that liquidity providers normally face. It was created by Michael Egorov, the founder of Curve Finance, and is built on top of Curve's automated market maker infrastructure.

The protocol works by leveraging a liquidity position roughly two times and keeping that leverage steady, which is designed to cancel out the pricing effect that causes impermanent loss. Users deposit an asset such as BTC, receive a liquidity token, and the protocol borrows crvUSD against the position to supply a Curve pool.

YB is the governance token. It directs liquidity emissions and lets holders share in protocol revenue, and it can be locked as veYB to gain voting power and capture yield. Yield Basis launched in 2025, so its mechanics are new and its long-term behavior is still being tested.
