什麼是 Solana？

Solana (SOL) is a high-performance blockchain built for fast, low-cost transactions and the applications that run on top of them, including decentralized finance, payments, and trading. It launched its mainnet in March 2020 and is designed to handle a large volume of transactions at very low fees.

The Solana network pairs a proof-of-stake consensus mechanism with a method it calls proof of history, a cryptographic record that timestamps the order of events so validators can agree on transactions quickly without heavy back-and-forth communication. SOL is the network's native token. It pays transaction fees and can be staked, either by running a validator or by delegating to one, to help secure the chain and earn rewards.

Solana is among the largest cryptocurrencies by market value and hosts a wide ecosystem of tokens and apps issued on its own chain. You can check the live Solana price and store your SOL in a self-custody wallet, keeping full control of your keys.
