什麼是 Tether？
Tether (USDT) is a stablecoin built to track the value of one US dollar. It is issued by Tether, and it launched in 2014 as one of the earliest dollar-pegged tokens, originally on the Bitcoin Omni layer. USDT is intended to be backed by a reserve portfolio that includes cash, cash equivalents, and US Treasury holdings, and Tether publishes quarterly attestations of those reserves prepared by an outside accounting firm.
Today USDT is one of the most widely traded assets in crypto and is available across more than a dozen networks, including Ethereum, Tron, Solana, Avalanche, and Polygon. Tron and Ethereum carry much of the supply, and Tron in particular sees heavy use for lower-cost dollar transfers in emerging markets.
Reserve composition and the peg depend on Tether's own operations and disclosures, so the value can drift in stressed conditions. You can track the USDT price and keep it in a self-custody wallet that puts you in control of the keys.
