什麼是 Chainlink？

LINK is the token behind Chainlink, a decentralized oracle network that connects blockchains to data and systems outside the chain. Chainlink was created in 2017 by Sergey Nazarov and Steve Ellis, and LINK launched that year as a token on Ethereum. The network solves a basic problem for smart contracts: a contract cannot reach real-world information on its own, so Chainlink uses a distributed set of node operators to deliver outside data on-chain in a tamper-resistant way.

Chainlink is best known for its price feeds, which supply market data that much of decentralized finance relies on. It also runs the Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol, or CCIP, for moving tokens and messages between blockchains. LINK is the token used to pay node operators for these services, and operators also post it as a stake tied to honest performance.
