什麼是 Checkmate？

Checkmate (CHECK) is the utility and governance token of the Checkmate Ecosystem, a network of strategy-focused, skill-based blockchain games. Its first integration is Anichess, a chess variant with spell mechanics built by Anichess and backed by Animoca Brands, which positions itself as a Web3 game partner of Chess.com.

CHECK is used to enter competitive tournaments, to stake for non-transferable Mate Points that unlock progression and reward tiers, and to take part in governance across the ecosystem's games. It has a fixed supply of 1 billion tokens, with the majority allocated to community and ecosystem growth.

The token launched in November 2025 and runs on Base, the Ethereum layer 2. As a young gaming token tied to the adoption of its games, it carries the risks typical of early-stage GameFi projects, and its value depends on continued player activity.
