Yield Guild Games (YGG) is a Web3 gaming guild organized as a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO). It pools capital, NFTs, and players to make blockchain games more accessible, and it popularized a scholarship model where in-game NFT assets are lent to players, often called scholars, so they can play without buying the assets themselves. The project began as a network of gaming guilds with early roots in the Philippines.

YGG is an ERC-20 token that launched on Ethereum in July 2021 with a total supply of one billion. It is used for governance voting, staking, and access to vaults and ecosystem programs. YGG has since expanded into game publishing through its YGG Play arm and brought the token to additional networks such as Base.
