什麼是 Verus？

Verus is a public blockchain protocol built around privacy, identity, and interoperability. It supports the creation of custom blockchains and tokens, on-chain identities, and interoperable smart contract systems, with the goal of letting separate chains communicate without a central bridge.

VRSC is the native coin of the Verus network, so it is not a token on another chain. It is used to pay for transactions and network operations and to secure the chain. Verus uses a hybrid consensus its developers call Proof of Power, combining proof of work 與 proof of stake in a roughly even split. The project began in 2018 with a fair launch, meaning there was no ICO and no pre-mine.
