The Innovation Game (TIG) is a protocol that creates a market for open algorithms. It rewards people for inventing and improving algorithms that solve real computational problems in fields like AI, science, and climate, and it keeps the winning solutions openly available. Its consensus is built around Optimizable Proof-of-Work, where participants compete to solve compute challenges and both the solvers and the algorithm creators are rewarded.
TIG is the network's ERC-20 token, deployed on Base, the Ethereum layer-2 network. It pays block rewards to contributors, can be staked through delegation, and is used for governance, with holders locking tokens to vote in domain-specific councils. The total supply is capped at roughly 131 million TIG.
