SLP is an ERC-20 token created by Sky Mavis, the studio behind Axie Infinity. It launched in 2020 and is widely used on Ronin, the Ethereum-linked sidechain built for the game, with versions also bridged to Ethereum. Its role is purely utility within the game economy rather than governance, and its supply expands and contracts with breeding activity and player rewards.
