什麼是 Numeraire？

Numeraire (NMR) is the token behind Numerai, a quantitative hedge fund that crowdsources stock-market predictions from a global community of data scientists. Participants build machine-learning models, submit forecasts in weekly tournaments, and the fund combines those signals to inform its trading.

NMR is an ERC-20 token on the Ethereum blockchain, launched in 2017. It works as a staking and reward mechanism: data scientists stake NMR on the predictions they are most confident in, earn more tokens when their models perform well, and have staked tokens burned when forecasts are wrong. This ties a real cost to every submission and aligns contributors with results.
