Decentraland is a virtual world where users can buy, build on, and trade parcels of digital land represented as NFTs. It is one of the earliest and best-known metaverse projects, with a user-owned economy and persistent 3D spaces.
The MANA token is the platform's currency, used to buy land, wearables, and other in-world items. Decentraland runs on Ethereum and is governed by a community DAO that votes on platform decisions and the treasury.
