什麼是 Hive？

Hive is a Layer 1 blockchain built for social, content, and web3 applications, with fast block times and no per-transaction fees for users. It runs on a Delegated Proof of Stake consensus, where token holders vote for the witnesses who produce blocks. Instead of charging gas, Hive uses Resource Credits tied to staked tokens, so accounts can post, vote, and transact within a budget that refills over time. The network launched in March 2020 as a community fork of the Steem blockchain, after disagreement over the direction and control of that chain.

HIVE is the native token. It covers network operations and can be staked as Hive Power, which grants influence over content rewards and a vote in governance. The ecosystem hosts a wide range of apps, including blogging platforms, games, and community front-ends, many of which reward users in HIVE for participation.
