什麼是 Diem？

Diem (DIEM) is a tokenized AI compute asset. Each token represents a fixed amount of daily API capacity on Venice, a privacy-focused AI inference platform, turning access to AI models into an on-chain asset that can be held, transferred, and traded rather than rented on a subscription. Note that this is the Venice-linked DIEM and is unrelated to the discontinued Facebook Libra/Diem project of the same name.

DIEM is an ERC-20 token issued on Base, Coinbase's Ethereum layer-2 network. New tokens are minted by locking staked VVV, Venice's native token, which ties DIEM supply to the platform's broader economy. The token launched in 2025 alongside Venice's API offering.

As an asset tied to a single AI platform and a relatively new model, its value depends on continued demand for that platform's compute, so treat it as higher risk. You can track the Diem price and hold DIEM in a self-custody wallet.
